Find me on myspace, screenname Gomeicha. I'm a singer with a voice best suited to rock and metal. I have had actual vocal training...not just a screamer. I've worked with an a cappella group as well (which means I can harmonize). I am really laid back and easy to work with. I'd like to find a band that does originals or covers and that respects my ideas, lyrics, and ability, wants to write and play good music, and ultimately record and perform.

Influences:

Vocally - Chris Cornell, Layne Staley. I have a range that extends from rich baritone to pretty high. I have an edge to my voice that lends itself to rock. I can scream to emphasize but don't like to scream all the time. I hate rap.
Listening - I enjoy rock and metal primarily, but I like the music to be sophisticated and layered. I like Tool, Isis, Opeth, Meshuggah, Metallica, Mastodon, Soundgarden, Beck, Mars Volta, Neurosis, Alice in Chains...much more.
