About

Not really a band but i am looking for musicians to jam with and potentially start a band. i have been playing guitar for almost nine years, and i can also play drums and bass, but i'd rather stick to guitar. just looking for a drummer/bassist to hook up with and get writing. i was in a cover band for three years called Keeping The Peace, and i quit that to join a pop punk band called For Your Health. in the cover band i played tons of gigs at places like bashful bandit, fox and hound, and various other bars around town. In For Your Health we played two shows before our singer moved to oregon, one show at The Rock, and on at Club Congress.

Influences

Way too many to list all but here are a few. obviously the big ones like floyd hendrix zeppelin cream rush blah blah blah, but I'm very into white stripes, chili peppers, black keys, dead weather, rage, band of skulls, cake, clutch, cursive, decemberists, dr. dog, fall of troy, foals, foo fighters, galactic, glass jaw, the greenhorns, incubus, jimmy eat world, m ward, mars volta, minus the bear, mute math,my morning jacket, porcupine tree, portugal the man, queens of the stone age, the raconteurs, radiohead, ratatat, rx bandits, tool, warpaint, yeah yeah yeahs.

i have a fully operational jam room equipped with a P.A., drums, bass, and a microkorg xl synth.
