I am a rock guitarist first and foremost. I do play gypsy jazz and this acousticy stuff that has interesting chord structures and melodies.
Not looking for top 40. A couple of obscure punk covers would be very cool though.

What am I looking for? Original, high energy music that can be heavy and hard hitting, buttknot angry. Well, maybe sometimes. Hard hitting and melodic music. Passion and energy. I am not one to just stand there and play my guitar. I have no issue in making myself look silly and creating a rukus. I do like to play as loud as is reasonable/possible. That said, I listen to the band/soundpersonelle before trying to achieve "my tone/chasing my tail". Totally respectful that way.
I play Marshalls/Marshall type amps and big tummy ache inducing cabs.
