ABOUT

**Guitars/Keyboards playing gritty blues-inspired rock and catchy pop.(Guitar/Keyboard driven pop that is)**

I am a 43-year-old songwriter/guitarist/keyboardist looking for like-minded individuals thirsty for success. I am deeply passionate about good songwriting and translating it to guitar and keyboard. I love listening to blues, blues rock, and 90's rock but my writing also has pop inclinations. It's time to bring back good music to the masses! Gandhi said "Be the change you want to see in the world,"

I am looking for a drummer, keyboardist, bass player, and possible 2nd guitarist and vocalist who are between the ages of 30-45, male or female, I am flexible on the ages depending on the person. Do you like the same music I do? Do you want to do the same?

Influences

My goal with songwriting is just write good songs regardless of genre. My styles lean towards a mix of Stevie Ray Vaughan, ZZ Top, Alice in Chains, Pearl Jam, Johnny Cash, Collective Soul, The Eagles, Tom Petty, and Alanis Morissette. This
mix emphasizes passion, creativity, great songwriting and awesome guitars.

I listen to all kinds of stuff though including Jazz and Classical.

Here is an example of some songs I would like to perform:
Bad Love (Eric Clapton)
Pretending (Eric Clapton)
Born Under A Bad Sign (Cream Version)
Walk of Life (Acoustic version) (Dire Straits)
Run (Collective Soul)
Shine(Collective Soul)
Hotel California (Eagles)
Take it Easy (Eagles)
Every Breath You Take (The Police)
Black (Pearl Jam)
She Talks to Angels (Black Crowes)
Interstate Love Song (STP)
Lookin' Out The Window (SRV)
Pride and Joy (SRV)
Voodoo Chile (SRV version)
Texas Flood (SRV)

Plus my own songs. I haven't mastered all these songs but if you are interested in playing with me, we can focus on certain ones.

I would be just as happy playing in a Blues Rock band, as I would a Stone Temple Pilots style band, or a Singer/Songwriter band like Alanis Morrisette in the 90's.
