EQUIPMENT

I generally perform with Fender Stratocasters and Yamaha acoustics.

I use low wattage combo amps so they can can be turned up and sound good, and yet not be loud. I usually use the Laney Lionheart 5 watt, Blackstar 5 watt, sometimes Fender SuperSonic 22 watt. Even with those I use a Marshall Power Brake or Weber attenuator to bring the volume down. The tubes are cooking but I'm not loud and a good sound goes to the PA.

I use a Boss GT-10 for all effects. Best fit for me is all-in-one effect unit for venues full of people who are out to have fun, usually with drinks in their hands and less-than-critical listening goals. I go for sounding like the song to them, and I can get close enough to that with the GT-10.

For wireless I haven't tried any other brand but Samson, so I've just always used those.

I also have a few DMX LED Par fixtures, dimmer, derbies, lasers, etc... and use Freestyler software with a FCB1010 midi foot controller to control them.

PA gear is an 18" Alto powered sub, EV 12" powered mains, Alto 10" powered monitors, and a SoundCraft Ui16 mixer.
