My wife (Louisa) and I are a husband (drummer) & wife (female vocalist) team seeking a band situation. Our interests lie in classic rock, modern country, Top-40, R&B & dance music. I am a very experienced drummer, with rock steady time-keeping, tasteful chops & a total professional approach. My wife is an excellent female vocalist, with strong stylistic ties to Linda Ronstadt, Sheryl Crow, Bonnie Raitt & Susan Tedeschi. We're looking for a fun, no-BS situation (no stressful or difficult personalities), where the band takes pride in the music they play, but also realizes that it's only rock-&-roll. We both have the equipment we need as well as transportation. We're both very professional & very low maintenance.
We're located in Northern Westchester, & willing to travel 20-30 minutes for rehearsals. Would like to gig once every 4-8 weeks on average, & rehearse weekly, but are flexible on both fronts. Varied, but grew up on the Beatles & Stones. Was in a Southern Rock back for many years, as well as numerous classic/modern rock bands.
