Began playing Sax during the big band era of the 40's--Played Jazz with Paul Montemuro around Columbia during the 50's. Moved to Franklin County and joined a small country swing combo. . Moved to SE Mo and joined a band in the boot heel which played primarily small roadhouses and clubs. Moved to JC area and am looking to reestablish into the business. Really enjoy the smaller band setting. (I love to play!) I have very flexible schedule, retired and farm part time. Prefer Country, Western swing, & "Outlaw" style, jazz and also blues and r&b, but mainly the Haggard and Jones genre' of country as well as classic 50's rock. I can provide solid 'backbone' for new band starting up, or for band growing and maturing. Looking for a band that really likes to 'get them out on the floor!'

EQUIPMENT
Have full six piece drum kit mounted upon rack rather than stands, plus symbols, etc. Normal collection for combo work. Kit is mic'd with mixer and 2 JBL speaker/ amps, but I have also played with acoustic groups without use of amplification. In addition, I have space for group practice, home is approximately six miles south of Jefferson City one half mile south of the Heritage Hwy- Buffalo Road intersection with Hwy 54 West. (just past twin bridges area) Schedule is flexible and I don't mind travel!
