I played lead guitar in a classic/hard rock cover band called Typical Munday for 2 years, and am now playing in Louisville with a classic rock/funk band called The Whole Nuther Band (a name that is likely to soon change BTW). We are actively seeking a bassist as our former has other committments and so played his last show with us Oct 24th at Dutchs Tavern. We have a female lead singer, second guitar, and drummer that have all been playing together for over 10 years. Our bassist was quite solid, so we need a talented bassist that enjoys classic rock, 80s, funk, 90s, modern rock and maybe an occasional country song. The focus is definitely on getting people up and dancing, and having a lot of fun with the music and the audience. Ability to sing harmonie is also a big plus.

Where to start? I play rock music past and present - pick a rock band, I've probably played something by them.

Equipment List:

I have a Marshall half stack cabinet, a JCM TSL 2000 amp, a Gibson les Paul Std guitar, and a few pedals for distortion, delay, and wah. Pretty much your typical set up for a rock guitarist.
