I am looking for musicians to form a jam session. It will be a place for musicians to meet other musicians and maybe new bands will form. Since there are not a lot of people in this area, I encourage any skill level and age to attend. We can all learn from and encourage each other. Any Instruments and any type of singer is invited. Music style will be determined by the group.
I play trumpet and some keys. I've been playing along time, but I was once shy about playing with other folks. A few years ago, I responded to and ad and I met some musicians which led to others and I had a great time over the next few years.
I am new to this area and want to jam! I can provide a place to play in Elk Creek, VA. It is in Grayson County not far from Sparta and Jefferson in NC and Galax and Wytheville in VA. I would also be willing to travel to your area.
Don't Be Shy! If you've never played music with other people, this is your chance to try in a nurturing setting. If you are experienced, let's see how good we can sound.

Influences
1940s pop music, 1950s rock and roll, 1960s music. Bluesmen, jazzmen, etc. I have a playlist of 300 songs to choose from. I am open to most styles of music.
