About
Millennium Country is currently re-grouping since most original members have drifted off while the group was on hiatus dealing with a member's recovery from cancer. I would like to rebuild the group with 4 ~ 7 pieces to play a mix of Country, Classic Rock / New Orleans Style Swamp Pop, and Southern Rock (Rock a Billy).
The intent would be to gig predominantly on the North Shore of Lake Pontchartrain in Southeast Louisiana, also in Coastal and Southern Mississippi.
We would perform mostly cover songs and some of our own tunes, primarily for parties and special benefits, avoiding the lounge scene as much as possible ... tired of dealing with drunks & brawls.

1920's classic through current with emphasis on 1960's & 1970's as well as current cover hit songs. (Too many artists to list!)
Classic Rock / Swamp Pop:
1950's, 1960's, 1970's, & 1980's with emphasis on New Orleans Style. Fats Domino, Aaron & Art Neville, Alabama, Beatles, Bobby Day, Bob Seger, Bruce Springsteen, Creedence Clearwater, Delbert McClinton, Eagles, Eddie Floyd, Elvis Presley, Eric Clapton, Jimmy Clanton, Joe Barry, John Fogerty, The Jokers, Lloyd Price, Lynyrd Skynrd, Meters, Robert Palmer, Santana, Temptations, Turtles, Wilson Pickett, etc.
Southern Rock (Rock a Billy):
