Hello All,
I'm a guitarist looking to play with other serious musicians in any combination. I'd like to play out regularly (a little cash in hand never hurt), but I'm game for some informal jamming too.
As for experience, I've played in a few different settings:
-Jazz band/combos in high school and college
-Theater orchestra pits, pops orchestra
-Wedding receptions
-Various churches
-Bar (cover) bands
I currently play in a couple original bands around SLC, but only gig out a couple times per month. I could definitely stand to be busier on that front!

Influences
Genre's a little arbitrary; I tend to agree with the people who hear only two kinds of music - good and bad. Having a tight pocket and solid groove is a good place to start, but musical honesty is crucial (as is having a good set of ears).
R&B, rock, jazz, classical, funk, blues, folk, bluegrass, any combination thereof...there's good music everywhere.
