I play mostly by ear. i learn fast and i have no interest in playing in a cover band. I like playing original music and i am just looking for people to kick around with and play some music/rhythmic noise possibly.
i would like to think that i have a small ego.i believe that skill is only limited to perspective(even though we all could improve our musical ability)i don't do well in critical and hostile environments and/or pushy controlling tyrant types.
what im most interested in is being creative with sounds and not necessarily fitting into a genre. i am heavily influenced by alot of styles of music not just rock. the stuff that i play does not always reflect the music i listen to in fact the music i hear in my head almost never resembles what i listen to.i think the music genre here is terribly limiting so i selected what i like to listen to which is not limited to my style.
i know that i am not alone on this because i have met players who listen to country music but play metal type music. to me music is not limited by genre but only the character of your creativity.
