Hard Rock band Missing Karma is auditioning guitarists.

Band info:
Missing Karma is an original hard rock band that practices 2-3 times a week in the East Amherst area. The band is currently working with a management company and is involved in a national radio campaign. The band is tentatively playing shows in and out of the area every Friday and Saturday. Requirements:
1. Availability: The band generally plays every Friday and Saturday night, mostly out of the area. You must have a schedule that allows for travel time and night shows on Fridays and Saturdays. The band also practices 2 nights of the week, practices must be attended. Along with weekend shows you must be available for short touring stints with notice (usually lasting only 10-12 days).

2. Gear: Have appropriate gear. If your gear isn't suitable we're not going to take you seriously and neither will fans.

3. Ability and experience: If you've only been playing for 2 years and don't have stage experience, you're not what we're looking for. We'll provide you with the best tools we can to make it easy for you to learn the songs and give you about 1-2 weeks before we actually audition you. This means when you come in to tryout you should be ready and know the songs.

4. Chemistry: Despite how this ad may come off, we are pretty laid back and fun guys. When you come to audition we're not going to try and put extra pressure on you or judge you on little mistakes. We understand the tryout process can be intimidating. Part of this is being able to get along with each other and even being able to voice your own ideas/opinions.

5. Work ethic: our work doesn't stop at music, that's why we've had success. As a member of the band you will be asked to do some extra work, for example we come up with a lot of our own promotion ideas and you could be asked to do some online work to support those efforts.
