I can't really tell you who I sound like, because I've played so many different styles. I've been in 2 serious bands, 2 not-so-serious bands, and I've played around Knoxville with a close friend of mine. I starting playing piano when I was 4 and quit when I picked up the guitar at age 12, and have only begun appreciating my rock influences within the past 2 years. I spent most of my childhood listening to and learning various songs in an attempt to challenge my musical ear, so I pride myself on adaptability and creativity in a band setting, but I've never written anything on my own that I liked. Chances are, if you've written a song, I can make it sound twice as good with my instrument.

I'm mostly looking to jam with some people around Knoxville, but if I find a good group I can make some money with, I'll quit my job and drop out of college (who needs a computer science degree, anyway)?

Pearl Jam, Soundgarden, Nirvana, Silversun Pickups, Muse, Eric Johnson, Dream Theater, Red Hot Chili Peppers, Starflyer 59, John Mayer, Pink Floyd... pretty much anything that's original and guitar based.

Equipment List:

A piece of crap Squier Strat, a piece of crap Digitech RP200, and a Fender Rumble 60 bass amp. Don't hate, it actually sounds good.
