I am an experienced and reliable drummer that has played in rock/Top40/dance/R&B cover bands for over 30 years. I have done some limited studio recording and played some large outdoor events.
I do not sing.
Looking to start a high-energy / musically talented band where we have fun and people will love to come out and see us perform.
**NOTE: I'm willing to consider joining an established band as long as you are open to new music ideas and your vibe generally fits with what I like.
Seeking male & female lead vocals, lead guitar, rhythm guitar, keyboard and bass player. Prefer if most are capable of at least backup vocals. I would like the band to have a very rich vocal sound.
I would like to play some great songs that not everyone else plays. Let's be a little different, songs people know but not all the same songs everyone else plays.
Please have solid equipment and if anyone has a practice space and PA that would be great. I'm willing to consider going in to rent a practice spot and I can possibly have some practices at my house but it's just not the best layout for sound. I live in the extreme north metro but willing to consider other parts of the metro for practice. I may soon have a place to practice where I live.
I would like to practice about 1/week on average and gig 1-3 times/month or about every other weekend. Please be professional, serious, have some experience and want to have fun. No drugs, no excessive drinking and no drama please.

Although many of the bands listed are rock bands, I enjoy R&B, pop, jazz and funk. I would prefer a more rock-oriented band but one that can pull off some other types of songs or mix songs up to have different grooves to them. Let's be creative.
I'm 51. I'm not too concerned with age as long as you can play/sing, are responsible, like the same music and want to have a fun & rocking band.
