About
I work in Charlotte and live in Gastonia so any band that wants to practice near either of these might work for me. I have practice space available in both places.
I played drums throughout school, put them away while serving in the navy/starting a business, etc.. then picked the sticks back up about four years ago. I've now played with bands playing covers from classic rock to blues to R&B, a little funk, a little pop thrown in. I love it but I'm ready for something a bit more commited; playing three or four gigs a month after working out a few sets to the point we're proud of them.
Influences
I love just about everything but I really love to play SRV, classic rock, classic R&B. I pride myself on being a musical drummer, finding the right places to fill and the right places to leave blank, and always being a backbone the rest of the band can rely on.
Equipment List
I play an acoustic, Gretsch set mainly that works well for many genres of music; other percussion (bongos, hand percurssionI. Also play a Roland TD-9SX with some extra bells and whistles. I also have P.A. equipment (EV powered speakers/monitors, 16-channel mixer with effects, mics, stands, cables,...)
