Searching for band to practice weekly, gig 1-2 times a month. Music for passion, not for a living. Add older R&B and Funk to the genres also.
I have been behind the kit for over 40 years now, but with limited gig experience. Some quite serious band work the last 5 years, but they have ended shortly after we reached the gigging stage by losing key members.
Big kit drummer, plays with passion. Grew up playing to many great drumming influences, I try to channel them to my best abilities.

EQUIPMENT
Pearl Studio Prestige BLX (Birch) - 22" BD, 10"/12"/13" RT, 14"/16" FT, 14" SD (Maple Primary, Steel Secondary). Optional 4x6" Pearl Quarter Toms if room allows. Various mounted percussion. Roland Octapad / PM-30 amp if room allows.
Cymbals - various Zildjian - K Custom, A Custom, and A Zildjians. Kit can set up full as much as 2 HH, 2 Ride, many Crash/Effects to work from. 14 total if I were to use them all.
Pearl Primero Oak 6"/8" Bongos, 10"/11" Congas.
Of course I can gig only a 5-6 piece with 2-3 crashes 1 ride! Stage / setting / song list sets the scale.
