PLEASE READ EVERYTHING BEFORE REPLYING TO MY AD! I hate to sound like a jerk, but I am so tired of getting responses from people who are trying to put a band together or already have a band that plays everything that I have no interest in! This is a waste of everyone's time. If you read everything within this description, you will have a good idea of what I am looking for. Hopefully, you are looking for the same thing.

Experienced drummer from Freehold looking for a CLASSIC ROCK band that has a serious PROGROCK foundation. I could probably handle back-up vocals if REALLY necessary, but I would prefer not to.

I have been playing for approximately 40 years and I am so tired of playing the same worn out music that every other cover band is playing. Basically put, no Beatles (ok, maybe 1 or 2 Beatles songs), Tom Petty, ZZ Top, Van Morrison, Rolling Stones, Springsteen, Southern Rock, Jam band, dance music, etc.

I don't mean to sound like a music snob, but I love to have my playing ability challenged. The mainstream, played to death songs just do not do anything for me. NOTHING pleases me more than hearing audience members saying, "Holy crap! I don't believe they played that!"

I have reliable transportation and might be willing to travel for the right situation.

Currently working with a guitarist, looking to add a bassist, keyboardist and vocalist into the lineup.

Equipment List

Double bass Ludwig Vistalite, Pig acrylic snare, custom made acrylic Octabons, Roto toms, 19 piece assortment of Sabian and Meinl cymbals, a 22" gong, Ghost pedals (Pre-Ludwig), wind chimes, several different bells, Audix mics and a full drum rack (different than pictured) with Gibraltar hardware and clamps. The acoustic set has grown a bit since my profile pics were taken. Pearl/Simmons/Yamaha/Alesis electronic set (Pearl and Simmons drum triggers, Yamaha cymbal triggers and Alesis D4 Module), Peavy & Soundcraftsmen amplification, Behringer mixer, Audio Centron x-over.
