You don’t find many groups that can say they have performed together all their life, but that is basically what you’ve got with the Moore-Thomas Trio.

Greg Moore and Matthew Thomas have known each other and worked together since high school. Greg’s brother Roger has played with them since the early 1990’s. During that time they have played various styles of music from country to rock and everything in between. The guys saw other band members come and go but the core group of Roger, Greg, and Matthew have stayed together for more than 20 years. As music has evolved so have they continuing to stay on top of what music is the most popular.

Playing everything from small clubs in the North Georgia area to larger venues in Atlanta, opening acts for major label artists, or even the occasional private or corporate party the guys have gained plenty of experience for any type of event. They spent over 12 years as the house band at a popular night club in Helen GA.

After taking a break from playing together they are back together. Now performing as a trio they can bring a dynamic to you that is different than most. All three are very good vocalists and also play multiple instruments. What does that mean? It means that they have a variety of different things they can do for you. If you’re looking for a simple acoustic set they can do that. If you’re looking for something more upbeat with electric guitars and drums they can do that, or they can do both!
