I have been playing congas recently and the keyboard/piano for years.
Several groups around town have let me play with them on occasions if I happen to be around at the right time.
I am looking for a group that is interested in expanding their percussion section....I also do play a keyboard, although I was classically trained and need music (or at least chord progressions) and time to rehearse with a group...I find I can jump in just about anywhere with the drums, but not with the keyboards
It's hard to say how long I've played - since I was a kid

everything from Grateful Dead, Clapton,
Alman brothers to the newer and heavier music that most groups I have jammed with play - I've played the keyboards since I was a kid
