We can fill all these roles. Our show appeals to a broad range of musical tastes and people of all ages. Influences

My musical taste is very broad. I like an extreme variety of types and styles. My professional career playing bass in working bands was most influenced by: Carolina Beach bands such as The Band of Oz, The Embers, The Chairmen of the Board, The Fantastic Shakers, many others. My personal musical influences, by that I mean the songs I play just for myself, range from Heavy Metal to the Glen Miller Orchestra. We grew up playing everything from Hank Williams to Black Sabbath, so it's really hard to narrow it down to just a few or list them all.

EQUIPMENT

2013 Fender American Deluxe Jazz Bass V
One of the most beautiful basses I have ever owned in every way. Looks fantastic, plays like a dream and I can dial in every sound I need with it's excellent electronics.

1990 Fender Jazz Bass Plus V One of the early active 5 strings with Kubicki electronics.
(Modified by luither Aron Robbins. I had the original neck replaced with a maple neck with maple fret board from Warmoth. 1990 was long ago and the truss rod and fingerboard was worn out from constant use in the original neck.)

Squire Modified Vintage Jazz Bass (2012) This 5 string Fender Squire Bass is close to the first Fender Jazz Bass I ever purchased while still in high school, now referred to as a “70s Classic Jazz Bass”. The Squire Modified Vintage Jazz Bass has the same pickups and controls. It is excellent for live performance. It always goes to jobs with me.

Schecter Guitar Research Omen Extreme-5 Bass Guitar - Black Cherry (2013)
It looks fantastic, plays like any of my Jazz basses, has Schecter Humbuckers and the active electronics allow me to dial in any tone needed.

All of my bass guitars are professionally set up and maintained by Aron Robbins, professional Luthier. I can't thank Aron enough.

Peavey TNT 115 (600 watts) and a Peavey Tour TKO 115(400 watts). Both are combo bass amps with ATA travel cases.
I use these amps for live performance. Peavey sound, Peavey power and bullet proof reliability on the road.

Peavey Max 112 combo bass amp. Practice amp and back up for the Tour amps. The built in tuner, aux input for your MP3 device and headphone jack make this a perfect practice amp. It sounds great, has plenty of power, and line out for the PA. You could easily tour with this amp.

I have a pedal board with Morley ABC petal, Big Muff pi for bass, BOSS Auto Wah, Ashdown Bass Compressor and BOSS TU-1000 Tuner. I usually leave the big petal board in the truck and most play jobs with just my spare TU-1000 to stay tuned up.

I also own Triangle Sound and Light LLC, a small production company based in Raleigh NC. We provide PA and Lights for live bands and other events. http://www.trianglesoundandlight.com
25,000 watt PA with 8 front of house cabinets, 10 stage monitors, 42 Microphones, Peavey 32 FX mixer, 20 Par 64 177 LED DMX lights on 5 stands, 24 Track Digital Recording workstation, much much more. Check the inventory page on the web site.
