ABOUT

Playing in bands since 1967, mostly keyboards, also guitar, bass, sax, and harp.

Had some pretty good gigs and played with pretty good musicians. In my 20's I subbed bass once for Lee Andrews and the Hearts . One of my bandmates got a gig playing in Stevie Wonder's travel band for 20 some years, which got me an opportunity to sit in on a rehearsal session back in 1979. Was with The Fabulous 49ers from 2002 thru 2009 with buds from my high school years, played all over the NE region. My corporate band at Deloitte Consulting competed in the Fortune Magazine Battle of the Corporate Bands in 2007 and 2010, where we got to play on the stage at at the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in Cleveland. Played private engagements at the Cutting Room, Hudson Terrace, and the Garage Restaurant and Café in New York, the Venetian and Hard Rock hotels in Las Vegas, the Palmer House Hilton in Chicago, and in the Philadelphia area at the Ardmore Music Hall (formerly 23 East), The Hard Rock Cafe in Atlantic City, and The Cure Insurance Club at the Wells Fargo Center.

Began when I saw the Beatles play on the Ed Sullivan Show. I convinced my parents to buy me an Ace Tone combo organ and a Ampeg Jet amp. I covered every rock band with keyboards that existed up through the late 1970s: Doors, Allman Bros, Procul Harem, Deep Purple, ELP, Skynyrd, Yes, The Rascals, Booker T, some Hair bands, a lot of 70's blues and R&B, etc.

Also a full QSC/JBL based PA system.
