23 y/o musician/college student seeks a band for serious musical endeavors. I am primarily a percussionist, but I have previously sung for groups as well. In addition to that, I am capable or writing, and performing, parts on guitar and bass.
I am seeking a band that is serious about doing music. When I say serious, I don't mean having dillusional dreams of "being a rock star", but staying committed past two shows with the intention of eventually touring.
I have historically favored dark and heavy music because it is what I prefer to listen to and play. However, I am musically diverse and just because it isn't either dark nor heavy does not mean I wouldn't enjoy performing it as well.
While I am open-minded to projects, I am a bit selective of what I do. I am a firm believer that groups who can be friends outside of the band tend to prosper better than a group of individuals who perform music together. I also do not believe in compromising the integrity of what you do, regardless of whether or not that stance is profitable.
