I've been playing electric guitar on and off now for 35 years and I'm just getting back into playing as life has settled down enough to allow me to do that. I've also just started playing bass and am enthusiastically working on getting my skills up to par on that instrument to play/jam with others. I have a full-time career and a wife and two kids so my available time and level of commitment for serious band work are modest at the moment. Now that the youngest has started school I'm able to find more time to practice and play. I am currently most interested in finding musicians with similar circumstances to play casually and/or jam with. I would very much like to eventually start gigging part-time, but I need more time to hone my skills. I used to be a very good rhythm guitarist as well, but I'm still working on regaining my strength and endurance on that instrument as well.
