Now Seeking
Rhythm Guitar, Lead Guitar.
About
SEEKING: Guitar player for both rhythm and lead playing. Love for the shoegaze/space rock type of styles/genres a HUGE plus.
Looking for a bandmate who's into the style of artists such as: Sonic Youth, My Bloody Valentine, Swirlies, Medicine, Lush, Silversun Pickups, The Pains of Being Pure at Heart, Slowdive, Smashing Pumpkins, Cocteau Twins, Ride, The Cars, Swervedriver, Brian Wilson
If these bands are your cup of tea, we'll be sharing lots of common ground to start with!
This band makes melodic, fuzzed-out, ethereal, shoegaze dreampop songs. We tend to lean toward a collected blanket of simple layered sound instead of complicated individual parts. The band has previously received regular airplay on KROQ radio and has performed live on TV on Adult Swim.
Seeking collaboration on writing new songs with easygoing, committed people able to gig and do some touring once we're ready.
Please be committed to regular practice, have transportation, and be in your 20s or 30s.
Influences
Sonic Youth, My Bloody Valentine, Swirlies, Medicine, Lush, Silversun Pickups, The Pains of Being Pure at Heart, Slowdive, Smashing Pumpkins, Cocteau Twins, Ride, The Cars, Swervedriver, Brian Wilson
Equipment List
Fender Hot Rod Deville amp, Fender Jazzmaster guitar, effects pedals aplenty.
