I am a bassist/vocalist, I also play and write alot on guitar (though I don't have a guitar amp for playing shows, just pro bass gear) been playing for 15+ years. I've taken vocal lessons for a few months, I can do sing and scream/growl and would like to pursue a combination of both. I tune low (B standard) and play thick enough to crush mountains.
seeking heavy sludge shoegazer metal GUITARIST (New Haven County)
Bassist/Vocalist and Drummer forming heavy shoegazer metal type band. Seeking 2 Guitarists (might have atleast one already for this, but it's uncertain at this point), maybe a keyboard. For the time being, I've been playing guitar to flesh out ideas and material. We are tuned to B standard. Detuned mountain crushing landscape painting music. atmospheric and grooving. perhaps some electronic sounds as well. Influences include, but not limited to: Baroness, Coalesce, Crowbar, Deftones, Dredg, Intronaut, Irepress, Jesu, Kylesa, Massive Attack, Mogwai, Mouth of the Architect, Neurosis, Portishead, Rosetta, Squarepusher, Trap Them, Torche, etc... serious work ethic, sense of humor, achievement and accomplish, Play shows, record, hopefully get on a decent label, possible small tours; all goals of this band to be.
