Hmm..well let's see. I've been playing in and out of bands for about 25 years.
I believe in a strong performance ethic..meaning that I feel that the members of the band should look better than most of the audience, and that you have a responsibility on that stage to PERFORM...not just stand there like a tree and look at your guitar neck, or hide behind a drumset or mic stand for 60 minutes.
I also believe that as a songwriter, you should write songs that have some thought put into them and have entertainment value, not just the first thing that pops into your head.
Also, I am a lyricist and usually end up contributing a number of pieces as writer in projects that I'm in.
I know enough guitar to write, and usually have several things in the works.
