Lead/Rhythm guitarist & songwriter interested in working on a metal project.
I like many styles of heavy music but my favorite stuff is more melodic and progressive. I have zero interested in being boxed into a single sub-genre of metal.

I continue studying music theory and have an understanding of concepts like harmonization, chord substitution, counterpoint, modal playing, etc.

Note on the audio sample: There's a couple seconds of delay before it starts. It's just an example of a (somewhat bland) riff for a few bars then a solo. 15 minutes of work, 1 minute of audio. Definitely not epic but it will have to do for now.

Equipment List:

Gibson Les Paul is main guitar for now. Also have an Ibanez and a vintage Ovation UKII. I have a couple different amp heads, one tube and one solid state, and a 412 cabinet. I'm looking into a 7-string soon because I like how they sound. Aside from that and pedals, just recording gear for making demos.
