Neil Anderson is one of the most versatile, innovative and energetic multi-instrumentalists on the international Celtic festival circuit. He began his professional music career in 1994 when he moved to NYC and became one of the founding members of America’s Celtic Rock powerhouse Seven Nations (Atlantic.) Neil helped make that group the most successful (and subsequently most imitated) Celtic Rock band in North America, selling nearly 100,000 CDs without a distribution deal. Neil left Seven Nations in 1998, and has since performed with some of the most respected artists in Celtic music, as well as producing his own cutting-edge projects. Neil has also produced original music for television (Ultimate Heavy Athletics on ESPN2) and film (Skye- The Movie, Scottish Films, Ltd.) Since 2003, Neil has been touring with Rathkeltair, a band he put together with Seven Nations’ original drummer, Nick Watson, and Trevor Tanner, formerly the frontman for one of the most influential bands on the London club scene in the late 80’s, The Bolshoi (Beggar's Banquet).
