Hey there,
Taking a break from gigging to do some recording, probably through July or so.

I'm 56, which puts me in the "aging rocker" category. The plus side is that I just retired from my day job and am available 24/7. Got a gig in Montana? I can make it. Katmandu? I can do that too. Hell, I've lived in a tour bus before.
I was a full-time road musician all through my 20's, playing anything and everything 6 nights a week and traveling all over the country.
I do my homework and can learn FAST.
Make out a song list, give me a couple days and I WILL know the tunes.
Chances are I already know a lot of 'em.
I'm mainly playing bass these days because I enjoy it, but I spent many years as a lead guitar player.
I sang lead vocals for most of my career, but am looking primarily to do harmonies. Sure, I'll sing lead on some tunes, but I'd rather leave the bulk of it to someone else.
Bottom line? I'm looking to get into a full-time professional band, a great one. If you want to do a tribute band I'm more than happy to wear a wig and dress in costume.
I'm not opposed to doing originals, I've written quite a few myself, but the fact is, most crowds want to hear tunes they know.
You can throw in one or 2 originals per set, but it won't get you gigs.
I want to gig as much as possible and will do what it takes.
I threw a couple of vids on be just to give people a clue about my musicianship. The sound quality's crap but you get the idea.
