Just moved from North Carolina, but I grew up in Davis.

I don't care what or who you are; I want to make music.

One of my longtime collaborators describes my lyrical work and compositions as a cross between Robert Pollard (Guided by Voices) and Bob Mould (Hüsker Dü / Sugar). I have roughly 700 unfinished songs and roughly 2000 sketches. I usually create songs with a lyric in mind, then get bored about 30" to 1'30" into composition.

All the stuff you see below is just a random selection from my page, which is also a random selection from my scratch disks. I enjoy playing in any style, but I've recently been tending towards my novel genre creation; something I affectionately refer to as, "doom pop," or a cross between The Magnetic Fields, The Postal Service, and some more aggressive post-punk along the lines of The fu*k Buttons. No allegiance to these influences, but I think they're more widely known.

I have a strong background in classical composition and microelectronics, which led me to think I knew what I was doing with drum machines, drum programming, building synthesizers, and circuit bending. I have created some curious abominations and blown several fuses and batteries testing my audacity... still trying to touch the sun. Anyhoo.

Additionally, if anyone's into Thomas Pynchon's, 'Gravity's Rainbow', I've been scoring the Penguin edition page for page for the past decade. I'm about 350 pages in to the 760 page book.
