About
Hello,
My name is Nicholas Newton. I have just completed a new album under the band name "Newton Vs. Gravity" and the album is called "Whatever You Call It." I recorded with Studio musicians but am now looking to form a band to gig this new music!
I am currently looking for bass and drums (surprise!) but am open to anything.
Lastly, while I have worked incredibly hard for 2 years to make this album I am not completely married to it and welcome jamming out and making new music. My goals are simple: I want to make music, have fun, and gig!
Influences
Black Sabbath, Simon & Garfunkel, Smashing Pumpkins, J.S. Bach, Muse, Atreyu, Beatles, CCR, PUSA, newer Radiohead, Florence + The Machine, Vanessa Carlton
Equipment List
Guitars: American Fender Toronado and 60th Anniversary Telecaster, Gibson SG Standard, and more...
Acoustic: classical guitar, acoustic steel string, and a Takamine 12 string.
Amps: Dr Z Maz 18jr and an Orange Tiny Terror with 1x12 cab.
Effects: Damn good ones. Less is more though.
I have a complete 16 channel 2000 Watt PA system and plenty of mics. None of it sucks.
