About

I am the drummer for a 3 piece pop/punk band called Next to Last.
Recently our bassist has decided he want's to play 2nd guitar. We really
dig the idea but now we are in great need of a bassist!!!
We've been together for 2 years now, played plenty of shows, and have an EP coming out this year.
We're really chill people and we love what we do! We hope to add a fourth member who is as committed as we are and shares the same drive to becoming a successful band!


We have a few requests to consider before responding to this post and making contact with us:

> No one out of the age rage of 17-20 years old please.
> No drugs or alcohol. Whatever you do on your own time is fine as long as it NEVER interferes with practices, shows, or anything else relating to the band.
> No bassists who aren't at least at a proficient skill level. Our former bassist will teach you his bass lines for all of our songs up until now but after that, you will have free reign to write your own for all of the songs that we write from there on out and we don't want someone who only plays root notes. We want some exciting and fun bass lines, that's what pop-punk is!
> Please do not contact me if you are not within the San Leandro/San Lorenzo area or somewhere near. We want to be sure that you can easily make it to every practice in San Lorenzo.
> And lastly, please do not contact me if you are not prepared to potentially become a very committed member of this band. We are very serious about what we do and want to make music as a career someday. However, do not let this make you feel like we don't like to have fun, we're always pulling a new shenanigan haha!
