We have played together for six years, and self-produced two albums. One of us has a music degree, and we like to operate on a high/sophisticated level when we practice (chord numbers, music theory jargon, etc.) Our last couple of guitarists were well versed in jazz, which is important to us because of the theory and technical background that genre is conducive to. Though we do prefer a guitarist with jazz background, that genre is not our primary focus, rather, there are elements in it in most of our music. We like to play the classic covers for the standard bar gigs, and we put a focus on personal compositions for our albums. We play a WIDE variety of genres, including, but limited to Rock, Blues, Country, Jazz, Reggae, Pop, and any varieties of these (Progressive Rock, swing, jam, rock and roll.) We definitely would like someone with versatility, or at least the mindset to be versatile.
