About
Hey everybody! My name's Nick! I am mainly a fairly good vocalist. I listed "baritone" but I have a decent range and have been singing for many years. I also play the acoustic guitar but I'm still learning (only been playing about 6 - 7 months), so I'm not promising anything there, but I'm getting fairly good at it in leaps and bounds. I have recorded some covers both with and without the acoustic guitar on YouTube (91nickt) if you are interested. I am playing for fun because I don't know if I can make a career out of it but I am dedicated to learning and I consistently practice/play. I am mostly in Long Beach for most of the year since I go to school at CSULB, but during summer and winter break I am in Los Angeles with my dad. During the school year, I am usually pretty busy so it would only really be practical to practice, gig, etc. on the weekends, just saying..
Anyway, I also have many many ideas for potential songs but I haven't wrote down all of the lyrics I have in mind and I would need a songwriting talent to make them a reality since I don't really know how to write songs. The subject matter of these songs is all over the place - from socially/politically/environmentally conscious songs to cool stuff like demons, death, and hot chicks to mundane everyday stuff. I even have an idea for a band name - based on the Greek goddess of greed/gluttony!

Influences
My influences are various since I'm into all kinds of music but the genres that have most inspired my ideas for songs (and those that I like to jam out the most to) are classic rock, blues rock, hard rock, progressive rock, classic punk, hardcore punk, goth rock, heavy metal, speed metal, thrash metal, rap metal (like RATM, early Linkin Park), grunge, alternative rock, and alternative metal.
