ABOUT

Within the scope of today's Black music scene, Nikki Anderson is what one would call an old soul. She replaces attitude with sass, and her sex appeal lies within her own sensuality and seductive nature. She moves slowly and deliberately, certain that when she arrives, her presence will leave one in absolute awe. The room will be hers. Just as in the tradition of the many songstresses' before her, Nikki is always in command of her most intoxicating gift: That voice. She's just what the Black music doctor ordered. At a very early age, Nikki discovered that she had a special gift: A gift of being musically inclined through her voice. Nikki's first expression of her musical ability was at the age of seven when she joined the church choir. That was the beginning of her future in the entertainment business. In the eighth grade, she had her first solo performance in a school talent show. From that point on, she has opened for several known entertainers and participated in many showcases throughout the state of Ohio and beyond. Performing in these shows, as well as recording in the studio on a regular basis, has been an exhilarating experience for Nikki. She was inspired to sing by her mother, who was also a professional recording artist in the late '70's, Chaka Khan, Angela Winbush, Shirley Murdock, and a host of other artists. Nikki gives the ALMIGHTY GOD thanks because without him, it wouldn't have been possible to reach this moment in time. With a voice and beauty so heavenly blessed, it couldn't have been any other way. Currently, you can find Nikki performing in some of the local hotspots around town and in the studio working on various projects.
