In third grade, the guitar was nearly the size of me.
I didn't care. Nearly a decade later, even the size of my instrument couldn't eclipse my need to write.
My songs express the emotions I've encountered, creating a roadmap of my life from where I've been. I always make my songs have a purpose and write only what I know about.
I can't really classify my genre because I never set out saying "I'm going to be a punk rocker" or "I'm going to be a pop artist" or "I'm going to be a rock star". I just sat down and played, because the songs were just as much for me as they were for others. Through the awe of God or the pain of my eating disorder, my songs documented it all, and hopefully can touch others' hearts the way they touch mine.
