A seasoned professional rock, blues, and funk drummer from Orange County, California, Nikke Blout has a style that is high-energy, powerful and solid. Her grooves are innovative and she is mesmerizing to watch. Starting at the age of seven, she has been drumming in marching, jazz, blues and rock bands while studying her craft in school as well as in private lessons. Nikke counts her father, Stan Blout "Polka King", as well as such inspirational drummers as Jeff Porcaro, John Bonham, Steve Gadd, Ronnie Tutt, Stewart Copeland, Terry Bozzio, Cindy Blackman and Freddie Gruber as major influences. Formerly the drummer for "The Deep Happy" and for the "Women in Blues" project in Los Angeles, she has played major West Coast stages including House of Blues, B.B. King’s, Key Club, Troubador, and numerous others. Expanding on her career, Nikke has been enjoying the influences and talent of the international scene and resides in one of the center points of Europe - Frankfurt, Germany - where she is busy working on taking her passion to the next level!
Open to performing/touring with serious and professional acts in US and Europe.
