Would like to play with any number of like-minded musicians - if the work turns out well, I would enjoy playing out.
I play piano - I like to improvise and compose in a somewhat minimalist, classically and jazz-informed, yet still song-oriented style.
Any type of guitar is easy for me too - I'm a serviceable bass player etc.
I read and write music - I can compose parts for classically trained musicians; would also be nice to play music from the past on occasion.
I'm very adaptable and open to arrangements, style, performance practices etc. I know music theory and history very well - I studied composition in college and so appreciate very much others that are similarly educated. I also love novel approaches to electronic music/sound design etc.
Would be great to integrate a vocalist, maybe some interesting percussion, who knows.
Please let me know what kinds of conceptual ideas you might have, I have a lot of enthusiasm for making those types of ideas a reality.
