My name is Brandon and I've been playing music in the neighborhood of 20 years. I started playing drums at the age of 5 and fell in love with playing music. I picked up the bass guitar at the age of 13 and learned the basics...enough to get me interested in playing something besides the drums, anyway. As a result, I started learning the electric guitar and power chords at about 15. At the age of 18, I got my first acoustic guitar and became enamored with songwriting.
As a part of my continued work, I've been the drummer and occasional guitarist for my church's worship team for the past 12 years. As a result, I've finely honed my ability to improvise and read song flow cues.
For the past 7 years or so, I've collaborated with some great musicians and songwriters, learning how to craft intuitive and creative tracks. I've kept my released work to a minimum because I'm a firm believer in finding the absolute best vehicle for a honed and perfected track before unleashing it. My meanwhile has been spent writing my own work, lyrically and musically.
I find music to be the perfect medium for self-expression. The creative process of writing and the invigorating affirmation of performance are at the core of what I'd love for my everyday life.
