I've been playing bass for over 30 years, what I'm currently interested in doing is putting together an awesome Joe Satriani / Stu Hamm Tribute Band + other minor cover songs and shred up the bars and clubs around town, and eventually expand to other states if possible. Tribute bands are huge right now, and playing Satriani's music I know we could be quite popular, because everybody loves Satch's music and he just isn't coming around as much as he use to.
What I'm looking at doing is about 75% Satriani, 20% Stu Hamm, and 5% other cover tunes. I have a great set list already made up. What I consider to be the best of the best in Satriani music.

My influences growing up learning to play the bass range from The Who, Rush, Led Zeppelin, Dream Theater, Stu Hamm, Van Halen, Ted Nugent, Cream, Ozzy, Billy Sheehan, John Entwistle, Yes, Joe Satriani. And many many many more.
