i like musicians that like to create original music and are not afraid to do covers. I believe it is important when you first get started playing with new people to practice a set of cover songs and go play a couple of gigs together before you ever start creating your own sound. This way, you know that everybody is serious and on the same page.

I have done a lot of metal. The last little project I was in was Hooks County Massacre (available on myspace music). I have done a lot of acoustic alternative songs from the mid-90s. Lived in Texas my whole life, but just moved to Tennessee because my wife is a professor at UT-MARTIN. Looking for some people to jam with.
