Chicago NW Burbs Electric/Upright Bassist looking for a band that plays out 1-2 times per week, known for getting the crowd dancing, and professional enough to earn good money for putting out a great show. Not a jobber; I'm seeking permanent membership. Some slow dance songs are great to break up the show/sets but I'm used to really rockin' out for the most part of upto a 4hr event.
Specifically I'd like to play 1950's-1962 rock & roll/rockabilly including even sax & piano driven songs. Will consider country or blues as well as long as it's upbeat, danceable & the money is there.
Will consider cowpunk, celticrawk or punk if it meets same criteria above.
