Are you a blues musician near Rancho Cucamonga looking for a side project, a challenge or something to do for fun?
I want to put together a cover band for the symphonic metal band Nightwish called "Ocean Soul". But with a twist: I want to cover the songs with a bluesy jazz sound.
Transposing the original songs into that style will definitely be a challenge. And I only have a vague familiarity with the blues style. But I think that this could be an opportunity to really stretch those creative muscles.
I need some of the basics. Guitar, bass and drums. Any other instrument that fits the blues style is welcome, too.
I don't mind the level of experience. People of all backgrounds are welcome so that we can all learn together. All I ask is that you're easy to get along with and willing to get together once every couple of weeks or to at least communicate.
