We are a local thrash/speed/melodic death metal band from Mesa, Az. We have opened for many national and international metal acts from Soilwork, Darkane, Divine Heresy, and Mushroomhead to name a few. We released our first album titled Prelude to Destruction in August 2010.
Our lead guitarist is our current vocalist but is stepping down from lead vocals due to losing his voice and wanting to focus more on guitar. We need a vocalist that can handle the aggressive vocals and possibly throw out some melodic vocals but the melodic is not required. If you are not a lyricist, it is not a big deal because our lead guitarist writes a ton of lyrics. We are incredibly dedicated. Have a decent local following and is always working hard on new music and pushing ourselves at getting better. We do have our own PA so no PA is required by singer.
We want someone that is 100% dedicated in every aspect. We need someone that has their own transportation, can pitch in financially when needed, has cool attitude that can hang. Please leave your addictions at the door. We will not tolerate drug use or habitual drinkers. The lead vocalist must able to get the crowd pumped and represent the band in a positive way. No slandering of fans or being derogitory is not acceptable. We do not want to portray the band as something we are not. We hope this isn't too much to ask.
Please no screamo/emo vocalists or death-core/hardcore vocalists. Straightforward metal vocals only. Thanks
