I'm a guitarist from Waverly, Iowa, looking for other musicians interested in playing hip-hop and electronica. I'm at an above-average level, with 4+ years experience on the guitar. I have no experience playing in a band (I do have some experience playing publicly, though), but have reached a point where I can't get any better without doing so. Also, I don't have much experience in hip-hop and electronica. I can enjoy a wide variety of music, from pop (Barenaked Ladies) to industrial (Grendel), but the style I'm interested in playing would be along the lines of Gorillaz, P.O.S., Cobra Starship, etc. In addition, as most of my experience with my current instructor has been blues, jazz, rock, and funk guitar, I'm also interested in the style of bands like Clutch or Beck. I'm interested in players of any instrument, as long as they have the flexibility to play different styles of music, particularly...hip hop and electronica. That being said, when it comes to vocals, I do have a preference for females.
