We are moderately serious about gigging and doing something with our music. We have some comical songs, but we still aim for more.

Influences:

Just look at the last 20 years in music. You have your underground + mainstream punk. Your metal. Your grunge movement following the hair metal of the 80s. As well as some bands that have a lighter side. Tenacious D and NOFX come to mind. These all come together to form the diarrhea of music that is Open By Sicks.

Equipment List:

I have a Gibson Les Paul, an ESP MH-400, and an Ibanez Acoustic-Electric powered by A 100-Watt Kustom Quad Jr. and a 30 Watt Kustom for acoustic work.
I have a Shure PG-57. As well as too many pedals to mention. In short, I'm serious and ready to gig.
