Blame Jeffrey...the passion, the power, the art.
Chris McKusky, guitarist/singer/songwriter and the founding member of the band recruited Tim Abbott in April of 2005 to form a band based in truth, justice and the American way. This band lives and breathes the punk ethos.
They looked for a drummer and went through 2 before they found Matt Jones. They have played the bulk of their shows with Matt behind the kit. His powerful, tribal style percussion propelled such Blame Jeffrey favorites as "Listening Anyway" and "Heal You." However, he was replaced by Jake Bulgarino in mid 2005 just before their show at Fletcher's due to his inconsistency. Jake performed admirably and played a major part in the success of the band's show at The Sidebar. His arranging skills came in handy as well and the band penned several songs while he was with them including "Say Something" and "Slave Your Life." Jake has since moved on to start a career in sound engineering. Recently, Nate White was added into the fold as drummer. Nate has already made his presence felt as he is currently learning the already written material, singing backing vocals and helping Chris arrange and write some new material as well. After Tim left to pursue other endovers they we're able to find Kenny Newton, a guitar player who was easily convinced into playing bass, as he just wanted a band to play with
