I am a lead guitar player. I take most of my stylings from the 80's heavy metal era, but I love modern music, and am looking to play some modern rock. I can do backing vocals, and I would like a band that is very serious and committed about what they do.
Here is a i set up with a few samples of me soloing (me just screwing around basically). Yeh i know i dont have many friends either, but I only use for samples of my music....

So many to list....but I would have to say atreyu, avenged sevenfold, escape the fate, dokken, van halen,....the list goes on...the devil wears prada, blessthefall, bullet for my valentine. I like melodic stuff that you can also mosh to.
