I've been influenced by every note that I've ever heard that just reached out and grabbed me ~ It doesn't matter whether it came from a guitar, a vocalist, a horn, a piano, some bagpipes, or a pair of spoons, it's just gotta have soul. Hot smokin' blues does it best for me. If it has a funk edge or a swing groove that's good too.
